Everything you say is strictly confidential. Whatever you say in the counselling room remains in that room.
The only exceptions to this are where we have a duty of care, for example, if you tell your counsellor that there is a risk of harm to yourself or another.
Your counsellor will discuss this policy with you at the initial interview, and we will give you a document which outlines your rights and responsibilities.
